🛠 Mechanical Mounting
- Ultra-compact (slim) structure with the ability to expand hardware on the right side via a dedicated flat bus
- Rear quick-mounting on a standard 35 mm DIN rail using spring-loaded locking clips
- In environments with continuous vibration, it is mandatory to pull out the integrated slotted plastic hooks on the bottom and mount to the panel using M4 screws
- Additional modules can only be connected on the right side; lock both ends on the DIN rail using metal end clamps
- Clearance: at least 50 mm above and below the housing
- Smart side-by-side feature: continuous side-by-side installation with no side gaps when using dedicated expansion modules
💻 Software Configuration
- Software: WinProladder (official Fatek Automation portal)
- Interface: Front Port 0 (4-pin mini-DIN), Fatek FB-U2C-MDIN21 cable (USB-mini-DIN)
- Drivers: Prolific or FTDI depending on the cable chip
- Connection: PLC > Connection Setup, standard parameters: 9600 bps, 7 data bits, even parity, 1 stop bit
- Limitation: The B1 series does not support online editing; the PLC must be in stop mode to transfer changes
- Reading from PLC: File > Open PLC, save as .pld file
- Quick cloning: Connect a new empty CPU of the same model, open the .pld file, and launch PLC > Write (less than 5 seconds)
- Online monitoring: Press F2 to enter monitor mode; active rungs will be highlighted in green
⚡ Safety and Wiring
- Always disconnect main power before working on screw terminals
- Transistor outputs (MJ or MT): maximum switchable current per point is 0.5A
- Install flyback diodes (e.g., 1N4007) in parallel with every external DC inductive load
📝 Extra Notes
Limit: maximum 64 total I/O points (native + expansions). Analog expansions use Port 1; additional serial communications go to Port 2. No hardware retention (latch) on Y0-Y255 outputs. Addresses: X0-X63/Y0-Y63, M0-M1999 volatile, M2000-M7999 retentive.
